Meet Our Staff
Paul Quinn, Chairman of Quinn's Auction Galleries has been instrumental in its transition from a small “mom & pop” organization into the regional auction house it is today. In 1987, Paul founded the Falls Church Antique Company, antique mall, in the “old white house” on Broad street in Falls Church. In 1995, he saw the founding of The Auction House of Falls Church, with his son and co-founder David, as the next step in fueling his passion for antiques and developing his business corporation. Prior to sowing the seeds of antiques in Falls Church, Paul served a 20 year career in hospital administration, including 8 years as COO for Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD. Paul is a licensed and bonded as an auctioneer by the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Broker for Quinn’s Realty and Estate Services. He holds undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Theology, with a Masters in Health Care Administration. He is an active parishioner in Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Washington D.C.’s trendy Georgetown neighborhood and enjoys traveling with his wife, Cathy.
David Quinn, President, founded The Auction House of Falls Church with his father, Paul, in 1995. At that time, David was a “one man band,” single handedly building and executing our auctions. Initially, David built one auction per month and in a short time span, expanded to more than one a week. When the business was destroyed by fire in 2004, David's leadership was critical in recovery efforts. Within hours, he forwarded phone lines to his personal cell phone, began alerting clients of the damage and resolving every case to satisfaction. Like a phoenix from the ashes David has led the exponential growth of the new Quinn’s Auction Galleries year after year propelling Quinn’s to one of Washington’s leading firms. David was instrumental in the acquisition of Waverly Auctions, LLC in 2004 and the movement of that business from Bethesda, MD and its incorporation into Quinn’s Falls Church facility. David is a licensed and bonded Auctioneer by the Commonwealth of Virginia, holds a degree from James Madison University in Communications & Public Relations and has an active interest basketball fueled by working under Basketball Coach Charles “Lefty” Driesell and JMU's Basketball Team.

Nationally, he has appeared on NBC’s Today Show, CNN, and has been written about in trade publications including Antique Week, Antiques & the Arts Weekly and Maine Antiques Digest.
